Cara-Lee Goullée

Director, Co-Founder, Senior Physiotherapist & DMA Pilates Instructor

Cara-Lee's passion for the ocean, movement and helping others culminated in her teaming up with the  creative Kate to give life to Stoke Physio. An experienced physiotherapist with 9 years of treating under her belt, Cara-Lee has learnt that healing the body takes more than simply addressing the physical.

After spending the past few years pursuing further education, 2019 will find Cara-Lee back in the clinic wielding needles, sharp elbows, faithful reformer exercises and talking non-stop as she educates clients on how to live life pain-free. Outside of the clinic you will find her with her nose in a book, on the coast with her caramel border collie puppy, Otis, or fresh out the ocean.

Leading by example, CLG lives her life to the utmost, fully embracing what it means to #spreadthestoke!

Cara-Lee is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to her daughter in February 2020. Stay tuned, because she will be back :)

Kate Stewart

Director, Co-Founder, STOTT Pilates Instructor

Beach Pilates.png

Kate is the creative, organisational guru at Stoke Physio. With a degree in marketing (minoring in spreadsheets, it is joked) and a background in operations management, she makes everything smooth sailing at Stoke. In between managing the day-to-day running of Stoke, she is also a very passionate Pilates teacher. She see's private reformer clients, and also runs group mat classes, and builds a fun, engaging workout with an emphasis on getting you to your goals through movement. Her Pilates philosophy is that as long as you're moving, and in a little bit of 'good-pain' somewhere, then you're doing it right.

When she's not at the clinic, you'll find Kate along the coast with her frenchie, Frankie, friends and a coffee in hand. Kate loves to balance a busy work life with an active life outside of the clinic, doing functional training, running and long walks in her spare time.
