Kate's Favourite Smoothie

I LOVE a good smoothie, and I love experimenting with what tastes amazing (and as a result, I occasionally get ones that taste ick!). But today is about my favourite smoothie, the one I make when I want something quick and delicious and can’t be bothered thinking about what to put in.

Try it yourself and let me know how you go! Remember there are no rules for smoothies, so you don’t have to follow my ingredients to a tee. If you modify it let me know, so I can try it myself.

Right, onto the recipe!

Firstly you will need…

  • 2 frozen bananas (fresh work too, I just like the consistency frozen give!)

  • Half a cup of ice

  • Almond milk (or any other type of milk/milk alternative. Enough for the serving you wish)

  • Handful of spinach (pro tip – keep your spinach in the freezer if you’re just using it for smoothies, it lasts so much longer)

  • 1 serving of vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tbsp of cacao

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 dollop of almond butter

  • 1 tbsp goji berries (to top!)

  • 1 tbsp granola (to top!)

Now to make the smoothie…

  • Literally chuck it all in a blender (except the goji’s and granola)

  • Blend

  • Serve it up with the goji berries and granola sprinkled on top for a bit of tasty texture.
