Cancellation Policy

This following document sets forth the Cancellation Policy for appointments at Stoke Physio (including appointments online via Telehealth). 

All appointments made at Stoke Physio (including first consultations, subsequent consultations, Telehealth, EPC, DVA, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident) are subject to this cancellation policy. Stoke Physio is committed to providing the best service and experience for our clients, and as such we ask that you respect our time. Missed or late-cancelled appointments mean that other clients potentially miss out on treatment, and that your own treatment timeline is affected. 

All appointment cancellations or rescheduling requires 24 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation fee is charged ($45 for 30 minute appointments, and $90 for 1 hour appointments). This includes non-arrival to your appointment.

This cancellation fee cannot be claimed from private health care, medicare, or to your insurer (if you are coming in for Workers Compensation or Motor Vehicle Accident claim). 

We assist you in this regard by sending out SMS and email reminders 48 hours prior to your appointment, as well as having our cancellation policy written in all email reminders and booking confirmations. All cancellations submitted by email or via voicemail with more than 24 hours notice are honoured, so please always call or email, even if we are closed.
