WATER SPORT SPECIFIC TREATMENT
Here at Stoke we LOVE being out on the water, doing everything from surfing and kitesurfing to wakeboarding and windsurfing!
Because of this we are VERY familiar with common injuries that occur because of these sports, as well as the training required to keep injuries at bay.
Physiotherapy and water sports go hand in hand - not just for injury treatment but for prevention. We want to keep you out on the water year round, so take action now to ensure you stay injury free in your sport.

Why should you get regular massages?
Reformer Pilates at our clinic in Perth will not only get you stronger, fitter and healthier, but by improving your posture and strengthening your muscles, it will also help to make sure you don't get any injuries!
We offer 1:1 reformer pilates with our physiotherapists and our pilates instructor, alongside small group classes for the more advanced clients. All sessions that are run by one of our physiotherapists are claimable under private health care. Sessions with our pilates instructor are not claimable, but prices reflect such.
Dry Needling is based upon a musculoskeletal model where very fine needles are inserted into muscles, soft tissue and even bone to speed up healing, release tight areas and encourage blood flow to the area. Not to be confused with acupuncture which is a Chinese medicine modality and works on the meridians (Qi) of the body.
Dry needling works particularly well on stubborn knots (or trigger points), releasing them instantly, which can be less painful than having a full session of your physiotherapist sticking their thumbs into your shoulder.
